Daily heroes
Comic book heroes and superheroes move and act in a world perpetually at the edge of catastrophe. They are positive, strong, good and, above all, handsome and beautiful. There are other 'superheroes' instead in my digital work: everyday heroes, used to live on the edge, trying to go on overcoming the difficulties which life brings to each one. Sometimes weak and fragile, they do not give up and continue to struggle to live, not to survive. These are the 'anti-heroes', who are not very strong, invincible and handsome but absolutely reliable and it is they who represent us better than any other model.
Gli eroi dei fumetti ed i supereroi si muovono ed agiscono in un mondo perennemente al limite della catastrofe. Sono positivi, forti, buoni e soprattutto belli. Sono altri i ‘supereroi’ invece di cui racconto nei miei lavori digitali: eroi che vivono la quotidianità, che affrontano e superano le difficoltà che la vita riserva a tutti noi. Amo esasperarne l'umanità, talvolta anche la fragilità, ma per sottolineare che, pur senza superpoteri, combattono contro tutte le piccole e grandi avversità. Sono ‘antieroi’: non sono fortissimi, invincibili e bellissimi ma non si arrendono mai.
