Works on canvas
Most of my works that immortalize cable cars, rear-end collisions and accidents, etc. are usually on canvas or wooden board done using technique of enamels or acrylics. Sometimes I also make them on large urban walls afterwards. The car, the plane, the train, represent the flow of ideas that get trapped in our minds and therefore the clash is a necessary element for the creation of space where they can freely convey. The recurring concept of street, witness of our passage, has been the dominant theme of the project 'Incroci‘ (Crossroads') started in 2014 - and still ongoing - made up of small installations, mini decontextualized urban routes realized on the whole Italian territory.
La maggior parte delle mie opere che immortalano colonne di macchine, tamponamenti ed incidenti, ecc. sono lavori di solito eseguiti su tela o tavola in legno con la tecnica a smalto o acrilico. A volte li riporto anche su grandi muri urbani. L'auto, l'aereo, il treno, rappresentano quel flusso di idee che rimangono intrappolate nelle nostre menti per cui lo scontro è elemento necessario per la creazione dello spazio dove queste possono liberamente veicolare. Il ricorrente concetto di strada, testimonianza del nostro passaggio, è stato il tema dominante del progetto ‘Incroci’ partito nel 2014 – e tuttora in corso - è costituito da piccole installazioni, mini percorsi urbani decontestualizzati che realizzo su tutto il territorio italiano.
